Weekend Wedding in a Castle
70 Guests Minimum, two days two nights*
* For weekends. If you have fewer Guests, book midweek or Off-Season (Jan / Feb) for a lower minimum of 50 guests.
Couples often say that after all their planning, their wedding day was 'over in the blink of an eye'. With all your guests staying overnight, you will all party longer. When people stay, they party late.
Book the Castle for a full weekend and your wedding day will last. Guests staying won't go home early. If you choose a 'local venue' your guests can all too easily head off home and you find your wedding is over far too early! At Craig y Nos everyone stays with you the entire weekend.

Sample Itinerary for your Weekend
1. Arrive for Dinner the Evening Before Your Wedding
Your guests arrive the day before your wedding. Everyone settles in to their rooms. Visit the Country Park, meet everyone and at 8.00 pm, settle down for a Three Course Evening Meal in the main function room.
Invite at least 70 guests to dine and stay overnight for free Exclusive use of the entire Castle. There are many tourist attractions and activities you can visit, the day before your wedding, read more.
2. Itinerary for Your Wedding Day
Join your guests for a full cooked English Breakfast. Next, get ready in our private Wedding Dressing Room where your Breakfast can be brought to you, if you prefer.
Meet the Registrar before your Ceremony in the function room. Marry in our Grade One Listed Opera House. We include a Floral Display of White Flowers on two pedestals on the Theatre Stage where you will be married.
After the Ceremony, we'll serve Welcome drinks either out in the Gardens (weather permitting) or in the Reception lounge. Canapes with three choices per guest are served with your Welcome Drinks.
After a couple of hours with your Wedding Photographer, you'll all sit down to a Superior Three Course Superior Wedding Breakfast in the Conservatory Wedding Banqueting room.
We'll keep the Conservatory locked so you can get all your decor done the night before. Then you will have a Grand Reveal of your Banqueting room, when you invite guests through to dine, after your Wedding Photographs.
We will serve our Castle Drinks Package Table Wine and Toasting champagne.
3. Evening Itinerary
We serve you an Evening Buffet for 100 Evening Guests. The costs of your DJ are covered up to a value of £600.
Our DJ can offer Evening Videography (first and last dance), Announcements service, a Dry Ice machine for your first dance with a fabulous 'dancing on clouds' effect, Mood Uplighting, and Confetti Cannon. DJ charges vary and will likely exceed the £600 initial value we cover.
We include pretty much everything you need!
We include Gold thrones for the stage, for signing of the register, Cream Chiavari chairs in the conservatory, with bows in the colour of your choice, cake stands and knife etc. We include all White linen table cloths, white napkins and all tableware. We also include stunning scenery as you dine, overlooking the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park.
You get sole use of our bars and all function rooms and Exclusive Use of the Castle for the two days and two nights along with all our Accommodation for 70 Guests or more, up to 100 overnight.
4. Itinerary for Day After Your Wedding
Enjoy a full cooked English Morning Breakfast and provided you pre-announce this so guests know to attend, at 10.30 am we offer your party a one to two hour History Tour of the Castle. This gives your guests a feel for what Craig is Nos is all about, before they go home. Guests find the history of the castle quite fascinating.

You and your guests between you will save over £10,000 at 2026-27 tariffs on this V.I.P. Weekend Exclusive Deal.
6. VIP Full Weekend 2-day Wedding Tariff
The Value of this 2 day exclusive wedding package is 33,951 at 2026 rates, and yet the actual cost to you as the Bride & Groom works out at around £15,009.20*
This is a premium all-inclusive V.I.P. Wedding Package with full Exclusive use of the Castle for the whole weekend, with pretty much everything included all under one roof, yet this package offers great savings.
Uniquely, and only on this package, we include an Accommodation Booking for the whole hotel for two nights for all your wedding guests at a lower rate to you, than your 70 or more guests will cumulatively pay us. When your guests all book their rooms, there is surplus income from your guests. This comes back to you as a rebate off your wedding cost.
Guests' B&B use greatly reduces what you pay for your wedding and the more you invite to stay overnight, the greater your rebate.
7. Viewing Request & Evening Event D, B&B Option

Having all your guests stay over means your wedding will last the full weekend. It will not be 'over in the blink of an eye'. You are booking a full weekend with all your friends and relatives. It will be a weekend to remember. To justify the trip to view our venue, as you may be travelling from afar, you can time your visit for when we have an event on. Select from the list on the form below. Some events are much lower than the normal price, only on this page. And any dinner B&B event attended will be credited against your wedding cost (i.e. become free) if you book your wedding at the castle within 30 days of your visit.
8. How Accommodation Use by Guests
reduces your cost to 15k for a 33k wedding (2026)
Firstly, in 2026 you save £10,566 over our regular Wedding Tariff, as shown in the chart here. This reduces the cost of your weekend wedding from £33,951 to £23,384.20. Different rates apply to 2027 but a similar saving will be achieved in each year over standard tariff.
Secondly, your guests book and pay for their own B&B at the regular wedding B&B Tariff. 70 guests staying two nights B&B at regular tariff will pay us £8,375. This is £1,475 more than the £6,900 we charge you for your block B&B booking. Once we have all the rooms (for 70 guests, staying 2 nights) paid, this comes off your wedding, reducing what you pay by £8,375.
With 70 guests paying for their own accommodation, this reduces what you pay, from £23,384.20 in 2026 to £15,009.20.
