"We had our wedding here just last week and it was the perfect venue. We are both not from South Wales but wanted to get married in a welsh castle and when we found this one on the internet we decided to visit. Straight away we knew, fell in love with it and booked our wedding.  We visited a few times in between booking the wedding and the wedding date and every time were made to feel so welcome by the lovely staff. The main thing I loved with this venue is that there's no need to stress about weather because if you can get out door photos the scenery is amazing but if not it doesn't matter because there's so many big and beautiful rooms indoors.

Stay the night before your wedding

You and close relatives travelling long distance can stay the night before your wedding.

If our en-suites are full, see overflow 'budget' accommodation with lounge and kitchen for the night before your wedding - sleeps 21. These rooms are £35 B&B per person - discounted for wedding guests.

Get ready the day before your wedding so you are not in a rush on your wedding day. As most weddings move through to the function room at 8pm for their evening party, you can set up your wedding reception table decorations the night before.

We are an hour's drive from Cardiff, a half-hour from Swansea, convenient for M4, 3 hours from London.

The interior of Craig y Nos Castle offers many more photo opportunities. The Victorian decor and furniture combines tradition and history with a comfortable and homely environment.

In photographs the opulence of our theatre wedding ceremony room shines through. Built by Madame Adelina Patti, the theatre is one of only eight Grade One Listed Opera Houses in the UK. The stage is set for the most romantic and memorable day of your life.
