Our Wedding Menu Tasters are served on our once-monthly Open Days.

At a Taster, you'll enjoy different courses from our Standard Wedding Breakfast. This provides you with a good idea of our catering standards and helps you choose your wedding menu.

Standard Menu Taster £25 per person, Superior Menu Taster £35 per person. (If you have booked the Ultimate Wedding Package the Superior Taster for up to 6 guests is included in the package.)


Our chef has set a limit of 70 places per Standard Wedding Taster, 50 on the Superior Tasters.

Spend the afternoon together enjoying a tea stand each filled with scrumptious treats of finger sandwiches, mini quiche, mini sausage roll, scones with jam & cream, Welsh cakes, macaroons, chocolate covered strawberries, mini chocolate éclair, mini Victoria sponge and mini carrot cake. Served with tea & coffee. For your little ones we have a children’s afternoon tea box for them to enjoy.

April 2019; We came for Sunday lunch today which was lovely! We've decided on the menu choices which I've put below, but we did have a couple of questions if that's okay! What will the seasonal veg be? Is it possible to have some roasted vegetables instead of just boiled? (ANS: Yes we offer both roast and new potatoes and can roast carrots etc as well!) And with the beef - is it possible to have some rare cuts? We're just thinking about the French guests!
April 2019: We went to the castle today for Sunday lunch and we all really enjoyed our food. It was really tasty, perfect as well want Lamb and turkey dinner served as options for mains at our wedding. It was the first time for our dad's to see the venue, - he hasn't been able to get there before today. It was a very special day, they both love the venue as much as we do.

Occasionally we serve Sunday Lunch - however in 2022 the Weddings COVID backlog meant we could not serve our once regular Sunday Lunches. In 2023 we aim to put on a Monthly Sunday Lunch and the dates for these will be listed below soon.
